It was established to engage in agribusiness activities such as Crop cultivation, Animal husbandry, Produce trading, Training, and other Agricultural-related services. The Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) granted the corporation permission to export raw and value-added agricultural products in 2022.

RuralPride tends to process farm produce in the process of value addition to the farm produce, whereby; • Organically cultivated Cocoa pod is processed into cocoa bean by fermentation from which cocoa solid and cocoa butter can be extracted. • Oil palm fruits and its by-products are also processed into crude palm oil, palm kernel oil and animal feed ingredients. • Sweet potato and cocoyam are processed into local snacks.
